Scope and Contents
This series contain records related to Ware's position as the minister of the First Church of Hingham, Mass. between 1787 and 1805. The documents primarily relate to his request for salary increases between 1795 and 1803, and his request to be allowed to leave the Hingham parish to accept the Harvard professorship in 1805. The series also contains a one-leaf bill of mortality noting the number of deaths, baptisms, and church members between 1787 and 1801.
