Contact prints, 1942-1956, 1942-1956
The contact prints show signs of fading, discoloration, cockling, and degradation from the adhesive used to mount them to paper binder pages. The pages are acidic and turning brittle. Some pages have become sticky due to adhesive bleeding. Pages have been torn in cases prints were apparently removed.
