Scope and Contents
This subseries contains handwritten English essays created by Eliphalet Pearson as an undergraduate at Harvard College and handwritten extracts of "Winter" by Scottish poet James Thomson (1700-1748), and the satirical poem, "An elegy on the late Rt. Hon. W------ P---, Esq," published in London in 1766.
