Scope and Contents
This series contains Triennial Catalogues annotated by Winthrop. Winthrop used the names provided in the Catalogues as a base from which to collect additional biographical information about alumni. Some volumes hold substantial biographical notes, while others have little more than sporadic asterisks noting deceased alumni. Annotations most often include places of residence, birth and death dates, and occupations. In his research, John Langdon Sibley referenced Winthrop's annotated 1794 Triennial Catalogue with additions through the 1812 Catalogue.
