Contains a letter from Lowell to Joseph Willard, dated London May 23, 1804, which includes a letter from Lowell to Joseph Planta, dated London May 22, 1804, requesting to attend the meeting of the Royal Society; a letter from John Lowell to Joseph Willard, dated London May 27, 1804; and a letter from Planta to Lowell, dated May 24, 1804. The documents are numbered 1-3 on the verso, and document Lowell's attempts to work out an arrangement to have the Transactions of the Royal Society regularly sent to the College.
