Scope and Contents

This series describes the research activities undertaken at the Harvard College Observatory in Cambridge and the Boyden Station in Arequipa, Peru. The largest part of the correspondence consists of letters between the director of the Harvard College Observtory in Cambridge and the director of the Boyden Station.

This series contains handwritten letters, letterpress books containing handwritten and typed copies of correspondence, photographs, news clippings, and telegrams. Sketches and diagrams of observations, mountain areas, and instruments are interspersed throughout the material.
