216: 24” Optical Telescope Dome, 1944-1960

In the Harvard College Observatory Drawing Ledger there are only three sub-series listed. However, upon inspection of the collection, additional plans had been grouped together at the start of this series and so an extra sub-series 216-000 was created to keep them together. The plans in the 216-000 are clearly labeled as being for the 24" Clark Telescope and so the assumption has been made that the planes for a dome for a 24" optical telescope are also for the observatory holding the 24" Clark.
