General note
This tape was recorded on two mono tracks. The first track of this tape contains two programs recorded from All India Radio (AIR), Madras Channel A, on the evening of December 21, 1964, and two programs recorded on December 22, 1964. The first program is from a distant station in Vijayawarda, and the second program was relayed from Tiruchchirāpalli. Unidentified performers are probably All India Radio Staff Artists. The second track contains music from two AIR programs broadcast on December 26 and 27, 1965.

The Eda Kuhn Loeb Music Library is the primary repository of musical materials at Harvard. The Music Library’s collecting mission is to serve music teaching and research programs in the Music Department and throughout the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. In addition, it supports the musical needs of the broader Harvard community as well as an international scholarly constituency.
