Collection of black and white snapshots, and one color photograph, some annotated, and the bulk of them showing evidence of once having been attached in a scrapbook. Many images depict Gloria R. "Corki" Wilson in uniform with other servicemembers, family, and civilian friends in various locations across the United States. One photograph shows a WAFS baseball team (as annotated by Wilson). Also with two pen and ink cartoons ("Your just dreamin' buster", signed Priser), a pencil portrait of a woman, a manuscript letter, an informational pamphlet about the 1701st A.T. Wing at Great Falls Air Force Base, and an Armed Forces Liberty Pass for Wilson in 1951 (which is filled in "1701st WAF Squadron").

Biographical / Historical

WAF was created in 1948 as a result of the Women's Armed Services Integration Act; this gave women permanent status in the Regular and Reserve forces of the United States Air Force. The WAF program ended in 1976 when the Air Force Academy first admitted women.
