.25 linear feet (1 box)Contains programs for many of the programs of productions by the Mark Twain Masquers, Inc., a theater group based in the Hartford, Connecticut area. These programs are for productions between approximately 1948 and 1968, and the majority were produced at the Avery Memorial Theater in Hartford. Productions range from The Diary of Anne Frank to Inherit the Wind, Dulcy, Anne of the Thousand Days, Gigi, and many others, as well as some programs for entire seasons of productions.
Biographical / Historical
Mark Twain Masquers, Inc. was a community theater group in Hartford and West Hartford, Connecticut. Productions in the mid-twentieth century were typically held at the Avery Memorial Theater in Hartford, and the group produced musical and straight plays of many genres, usually several per year.
