Collection of broadsides and newsletters produced by mimeograph, some illustrated, printed by Yugoslav Partisan survivors at Dachau Concentration Camp just after their liberation by the Americans on April 29, 1945.

Includes satirical and disturbing illustrations by Slovenian artist, Božidar Pengov. Among them are a map of Dachau showing the location of the mass grave at Leitenberg; and a single illustrated issue of a satirical newsletter written by Ludwig Mrzel, edited by Emil Smasek, and printed at Dachau on June 1, 1945.

Also includes the first eight issues of the daily Dachau Reporter (Dahavski Porocevalec), edited by Ludvik Mrzel.

Biographical / Historical

The Yugoslav Partisans, or National Liberation Army and Partisan Detachments of Yugoslavia, were a movement led by the Communist Party of Yugoslavia to resist the Axis powers (chiefly Germany) in occupied Yugoslavia during World War II.
