8.4 linear feet (17 boxes and 257 folders)This collection consists of materials relating to theatrical productions performed at the Loeb Drama Center by Harvard student dramatic groups between 1960 and 2007. This includes photographs and slides, often from rehearsals, as well as promotional posters, programs, and posters for open casting calls. Further materials include set and costume designs, light plots, and further designs relating to student productions at the Loeb Drama Center.
Biographical / Historical
The Loeb Drama Center at Harvard University opened in 1960 and housed the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club as well as other dramatic groups. The Loeb's 556-seat theatre is the venue for most American Repertory Theater productions as well as fall and spring main stage productions of the Harvard dramatic societies.
