Letters from David Kalakaua, King of Hawaii, and Liliuokalani, Queen of Hawaii. Includes manuscript (in the Amoy dialect of Chinese) of the 23rd psalm and a collection of 19th-century invitations and broadsides.

Ruth Hyde Handford was the wife of A. Chester Handford, dean of Harvard College from 1927 to 1947.
