Some letters fragile and folded, some still in envelopes; modern prints of older photographs bear sticky notes. The diplomas have tears and are worn, as is the J.O.U.A.M. document.

Biographical / Historical

Arthur V. Ross (1875-1961) served from July 21 to December 28 of 1898 in the 16th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company M, in the Spanish American War. Ross was a longtime employee of the Eclipse Works of the Atlantic Refining Co. in Pennsylvania.
