Includes letters from Skillan to Noel Woolf of Samuel French Ltd., 1949-1964; rejection letters from other publishers to Skillan, 1947-1948; Skillan's undated typescript synopses of MacBeth, Romeo and Juliet, and Two Gentlemen of Verona; his typescript notes on Henry VIII; a printed copy of French's acting edition of Henry VIII with Skillan's manuscript revisions; and Skillan's drafts and notes for French's acting edition of Antony and Cleopatra, circa 1968-1969.
