General note

In part concerns a previous lost letter with Thompson's Bavarian knighthood document.

Encloses two transcript copies in Thompson's hand of same document: copy of letter from William Fraser, Under Secretary of State to Mr. Jackson, His Majesty's Charge d'affaires...at the Court of...Elector Palatine Duke of Bavaria...; St. James's, 1784 February 27. A letter of introduction for Thompson.
