A letter of presentation from Higginson to a professor (possibly Robinson), dated January 15, 1908 is tipped in at the front. First section of the notebook lists plants found in 1841-1842 in systematic (Linnaean) order. The second section lists plants chronologically from 1843 March 22-1843 October 6, numbers 1-347. Locations include Brookline, Cambridge and Brattleboro, Vermont.
