Scope and Contents

Correspondence from Scottish botanist G. A. Walker (George Arnott Walker) Arnott (1799-1868), dated August 18, 1828, regarding duplicate specimens of plants Arnott had collected in the Pyrenees, which he was sending to Elliott. Arnott notes he has numbered the specimens and included in his letter the localities by number. He also writes of his plans to travel to Russia and his hopes that Elliott will send him some North American plant specimens.
