VI. Industry: 1966-1983 Dec 12; n.d.

Scope of the Industry file

The VI. Industry file includes all documentation generated and related to several corporations represented in the collection. The largest file of information pertains to Reed Paper Company, the parent company of the two Dryden subsidiaries which were eventually purchased by Great Lakes Paper Company in the late 1980's. It is presumed that Marion collected information on other corporations, particularly those who had a reputation for polluting waters or had been sued for doing so. The materials include a wide-variety of information from blueprints of the Dryden plant to clippings on the fishing ban on Lake St. Clair as a result of pollution from Dow Chemical.
