Typescript letters and handwritten note about Crowell Baynes's (the Washington Post) request to tour the Dumbarton Oaks gardens occasionally. Baynes made the request of Mildred Bliss. The secretary created handwritten notes for Mildred Bliss after speaking with William Gray the Dumbarton Oaks Garden Superintendent. Mildred Bliss's secretary offered a response to Baynes on behalf of Mildred Bliss, but it may not have been sent.
