Copy of text for a Western Union telegram from Mildred Bliss to Beatrix Farrand discusses the acquisition of "The Silva of North America" set by Charles Sprague Sargent for the Garden Library. She reports Anne Sweeney and Ethel B. Clark are enchanted with it. Mildred Bliss mentions there is still sleet and snow, so there are a few scylla [scilla] and aconites appearing. She looks forward to meeting with Sellar Bullard from the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden.
