Scope and Contents:
Typescript letter with handwritten signature and postscript from Beatrix Farrand to Mildred Bliss tells her she received Mildred's charming and heartening letter. It was not an easy day last Monday (leaving The Huntington Library and Art Gallery), but everyone was so affectionate and friendly that it warmed their hearts even though it closed their throats. It looks like Beatrix should be able to get to Santa Barbara again before leaving California and looks forward to seeing Mildred again...
