Copy of typescript letter from Anne Sweeney to Beatrix Farrand tells her she received Farrand's letter of December 15th which was devoured by her. Sweeney says she is comforted to know that "my dear Mr. and Mrs. Bliss are well and, like them to be giving so much of themselves to the new demands upon them." She is grateful Mildred Bliss has the work to occupy her and thnks the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden herbarium must be a joy to work on. She retells a recent conversation with a garden...
