She reports that Beatrix Farrand and her husband Professor Max Farrand was pleased by the tribute, and sends a photograph with thanks for his share of great pleasure at Dumbarton Oaks. The inscription was for a panel dedicated to Beatrix Farrand in the Dumbarton Oaks Green Garden.
