Letter from Beatrix Farrand to Mrs. Robert Woods Bliss, 3101 R. Street, Washington, D.C., December 2, 1937 Digital

File — Box: B: 1, Folder: 119Identifier: DDO-RB-GAR-001, B:BF 1937.12.02
Scope and Contents:

Unsigned copy of typescript letter from Beatrix Farrand telling Mildred Bliss that Beatrix is now the economical one for not approving a costly small alteration at Casa Dorinda "Loquat Island". The alteration would involve moving the big Dracaena from the front entrance to the space near the front door and leave some "to boot". Johnny Weeks felt like $160.00 for the work was a rather formidable sum and therefore contacted Beatrix Farrand before moving forward.
