Scope and Contents

Copy of typescript letter from Anne Sweeney to Isabelle Stover tells her many books have arrived from Fiedler and been unpacked. Two are still missing from the list. She is still waiting for books from Traylens and the volumes of perennials by Mrs. Jane Loudon to be sent to Reef Point. Sweeney will add all new books to the book lists and bring these with her when she visits. The book, "North American wild flowers" by Wilson sent to her from Reef Point was already ordered by Beatrix Farrand and received at Dumbarton Oaks. There is a question as to whether the volumes by William Shenstone, "The works in verse and prose" is appropriate for the Dumbarton Oaks Garden Library.
