Letter from Kate Ourusoff, 21 Cedar Parkway, Chevy Chase, Maryland to Mrs. Robert Woods Bliss, 1937-1960 Digital
Scope and Contents
Handwritten letter from Kate Ourusoff to Mildred Bliss says it was a great pleasure listening to the music concert today and Friday. She appreciates Mildred asking them and can't thank her enough. Ourusoff can't believe the concerts are finished this year. It is wonderfully kind for Mildred to make it possible for one to hear that sort of music. She thanks her for two tickets to the Thrift Shop Ball. Ourusoff went for a little while on Friday night after the music concert, and she reports there were a lot of people, so it must have been a success. She doesn't know when they will be in a state to listen so freely to music again with the world in such a seeming chaos.
