Scope and Contents

Handwritten letter from Mabel Lafarge to Mildred Bliss thanks her for the spring welcome and music Thursday night. During the evening LaFarge was given the choice of the garden or the things in the big room, so she couldn't do both because of a prior commitment. "The garden was brought into the house with your lovely flower arrangements and Mr. Bliss kept bringing out hidden treasures for Mr. Winlock's comments, so it was a wonderful opportunity to see them." She tells Mildred it was a perfect day. She and Mr. Kellog had to leave before Mildred got back to their great sorrow, and reports that Henry was sorry to have missed the occasion also.
