Scope and Contents
Typescript letter with handwritten signature from Beatrix Farrand to John Thacher tells him Mary Cadwalader Jones's (Beatrix Farrand's mother) photographs of Constantinople and Greece from early to mid-1920s are being sent to him for Dumbarton Oaks. Mildred Bliss has told Beatrix that Dumbarton Oaks matters has prevented Thacher from making his California visit. Robert and Mildred Bliss seem bitterly disappointed and one wonders whether the Blisses will actually make their European trip after Mildred's serious series of "reactions" from many bacilli which has infected her.
