Western Union telegram from Beatrix Farrand to Mildred Bliss informs her that Max Farrand died during in the afternoon (June 17, 1945) and asks for donations to be made to the Friends of Huntington Library or Reef Point Gardens in lieu of flowers or letters. Beatrix asks Mildred to tell John Thacher and James Bryce "all is well."
