Scope and Contents
Copy of typescript letter from Anne Sweeney to Beatrix Farrand enclosing a summary of the garden visitors for 1944 and a report for the month of January, both also given to John Thacher. She reports a controversy about the postcards. James Bryce is going to write Beatrix when he gets to Jupiter, Florida and asked anne to return two packets of papers back to Beatrix. Anne has registered for a course of 12 evening lectures at the Department of Agriculture. She is sorry Beatrix's hand is still troubling her. Ellis Russell stopped in to see Anne during his visit to see the Blisses. Anne is staying at James Bryce's house and looking after the two older doges and two of Jet's puppies. She offers kind greetings to Max Farrand and Clementine Walters.
