Scope and Contents

Typescript letter with handwritten signature on Beatrix Farrand letterhead from Isabelle M. Stover (Secretary to Beatrix Farrand) to Anne Sweeney acknowledges Beatrix Farrand's receipt of Anne's letter which arrived this morning. Isabelle reports that Max Farrand is still in the hospital and may not be home for another week. When he does come home, it will mean that his two nurses will be with him and that will fill the home. Therefore, Mrs. Farrand cannot make any plans for seeing Anne at Reef Point in the first days of September. Beatrix Farrand appreciates her willingness to adapt to the change in plans, but "can't make even a guess as to when it would be possible for her to go over the Catalogue House matters with you here."
