Scope and Contents

Typescript letter with handwritten signature on Beatrix Farrand letterhead from Isabelle M. Stover (Secretary to Beatrix Farrand) to Anne Sweeney reports that her letter to Beatrix Farrand gave Beatrix much pleasure, and after she can get straightened out after her return to Reef Point, she will write Anne and set a date for her to come to Reef Point for the preparation of Anne's Autumn work. Beatrix Farrand heard from Mildred Bliss that she wants Anne to stay on at Dumbarton Oaks and volunteered to guarantee her salary for six months. A whole year's salary can be guaranteed in advance.
