Scope and Contents

Typescript list of preliminary estimates for work to be done in the end of the North Vista probably created by Ruth M. Havey. Work to be done references drawings #1 dated 3/9/[19]50; and #2, #3, and #4 dated 3/18/[19]50 to 1) Remove existing wall to south face of new corner piers; 2) Bevel top of low retainig wall and bring grass over new turf steps with stone risers; 3) New stone walls, steps, piers, and foundations; 4) Limestone for wall capping, two large consoles, two finials for large corner piers, two finials for the low piers; 5) Bluestone for steps at east wall, walk to join steps with existing walk, new platform and two steps and 4 foot walk as shown on plan; 6) Wrought iron back and arms for seat in west wall and rail north of Rose Garden, and flowers for rail piers; 7) Teak seat in west wall; 8) Planting bed; 9) Grading from new wall to existing wall and brick wall. Six small sketches on estimate sheet. Estimates remain to be added.
