Rare Books, Manuscripts to Isabel Denison at Dumbarton Oaks Research Library and Collection responding about Gerarde Herbal not being in stock, but he will do his best to locate a copy. He is sending the auction catalog at the Parke-Bernet Galleries on May 18-20, 1954. The catalog contains "very fine color plate books and several rare works on gardening, birds, etc." He would be "pleased to execute Mildred Bliss' bids at the auction.
