Scope and Contents

Signed handwritten letter from Sarah R. Mead (Mrs. George Alvin Mead), Mansfield, Ohio to Mildred Bliss telling her how much she and her husband enjoyed the lovely Dumbarton Oaks Garden. She spoke of the garden as a highlight of their trip and thanks Mildred Bliss for allowing them to see it. The monogram at the top of the letter is SMR. Letter undated, probably written between 1930-1962, the later date is the year her husband died.
