Correspondence and financial records like receipts and invoices between Mildred Bliss or her secretary and individuals and corporations whose last name or name begins with "R". Some correspondence involve the acquisition, purchase or bookbinding of books or library items.
Individuals or corporations include: Riggs National Bank, Rodale Books Incorporated, Russian Orthodox Church (St. John the Baptist), Charles Ratton, Nicholas Rauch, S.J., T. Rogers & Company, Ltd., Ludwig Rosenthal's Antiquariaat, Ellis Russell (Robert Bliss' New York secretary), and Joseph Ruzicka (bookbinder). One set of correspondence is about the contents of a letter written by Benjamin Rush to Mr. Henry D. Gilpin when he was U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
