Scope and Contents

This series documents the conservation, restoration, survey, and research that were conducted by the Byzantine Institute and Dumbarton Oaks fieldwork directors and staff, including Thomas Whittemore, Paul Underwood, Nicholas Kluge, Richard A. Gregory, Ernest Hawkins, and others. The contents contain fieldwork notebooks, research and bibliographic notes, drawings, sketches, charts, and ground plans from the fieldwork projects conducted in the following locations: Egypt, Turkey, Republic of Macedonia, Cyprus, and Syria.
