Asa Whitcomb (1718-1804) was a Colonel in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. Whitcomb lead the 5th Massachusetts Regiment during the Seige of Boston at the battle of Bunker Hill in 1775, and in 1776 he took command of the 6th Continental Regiment (also known as the 13th Massachusetts Regiment).

Transferred to the Harvard Medical Library by Warren Anatomical Museum in 2017 (Accession #2017-030).
