Series VI. Personal papers, 1930-2010

Scope and Contents

Consists of materials from Zerka T. Moreno’s personal life, including biographical papers and audio recordings, as well as fashion drawings and design sketches from her time in London in the 1930s and sketches and watercolors from later in her life. Also includes celebratory items and awards such as certificates, diplomas, honorary memberships, as well as a customized belt buckle. Contains both personal photographs from travel as well as photographs from conferences, workshops, seminars, and similar professional settings, as well as a recorded autobiography of Zerka T. Moreno and audio recordings of memorials to J.L. Moreno. Further materials relate to her professional and personal partner J.L. Moreno’s life and his career in psychodrama and psychotherapy, including recorded interviews with J.L. Moreno, correspondence regarding a biographical film, and Hall of Fame inductions. Some records are in German and Spanish.
