Consists of correspondence from Hall Jackson to physicians including Edward Augustus Holyoke (1728-1829), and one letter to Jackson from William Withering (1741-1799) regarding treatment of dropsy with purple foxglove, as well as correspondence to his patients and patients' family members discussing potential amputation, the effects of cold baths, and treatment of other unnamed illnesses.
