Correspondence regarding literature and books sent to him by Waterhouse, including Robinson Crusoe, and politics. He further writes of his own state of health at age 75: "I am much debilitated in body, and my memory sensibly on the wane. Still however I enjoy good health and spirits, and am as industrious a reader as when a student at College." Other topics include his recollections of Samuel Adams and thoughts on Christianity.
