Processing Information

The reprints in this series originally came in envelopes labeled with title and number, and are numbered 1-400. Some numbers are used more than once, and others are not used at all, or are missing. They are described at the item level, and exhibits are noted as such. Where the title on the envelope matched the title on the piece contained inside, the envelope was discarded. Where the envelope was empty, or differed from the contents, the envelope was retained. These appear to have been numbered by Randolph, corresponding roughly to the bibliography found in Environmental Medicine: Beginnings and Bibliographies of Clinical Ecology. Some envelopes included draft material and typescripts which have been left where found. Reprints found in the collection were filed here if not already present. Any reprints not from the numbered series are filed together at the end of this subseries.
