Harriet Hardy, pioneer of occupational health. A.B. Wellesley College, 1928. M.D. Cornell University Medical School, 1932. Assistant in Medicine, Harvard, 1942. Instructor in Industrial Hygiene, H.S.P.H., 1947. Clinical Associate in Preventative Medicine, Harvard, 1952. Assistant Clinical Professor in Preventative Medicine, 1958. Promoted to full Professor, 1971. Dr. Hardy established the Occupational Medicine Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital in 1947 and retired as its director in 1971.
