Scope and Contents

Contains land deeds, indentures, and estate documents of the Spaulding family, dated 1788-1841. Includes records of land sold by Bezaleel Spaulding (1760-1831) of Hancock, New Hampshire, and rights to use of a mill, meetinghouse pew, and other property he purchased, as well as a 1795 indenture apprenticing Phinehas Astin to Spaulding, a farmer, to learn husbandry.
