Historical Note

The new Longwood Avenue campus included four classroom buildings each with a lecture amphitheatre, laboratories, classrooms, and departmental offices. Building B housed the Anatomy, Comparative Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, and Operative Surgery Departments; Building C housed the Physiology and Physiological Chemistry Departments; Building D housed the Bacteriology and Pathology Departments; and Building E housed the Hygiene, Pharmacology, Comparative Pathology, and Surgical Research Departments.
