Series IX contains article manuscripts and correspondence about EHK’s writings on topics including hypertension, Toxic Shock Syndrome, pyelonephritis, antimicrobial drugs, bacteriuria, pregnancy and history of medicine. This series also contains reviews and research notes from work on the publication of EHK and Amalie Kass’ book about Thomas Hodgkin entitled Perfecting the World: The Life and Times of Thomas Hodgkin 1798-1866. Correspondence with Hodgkin’s descendants is located in Series I.

Access requires advance notice. There are restrictions on access to portions of this collection. Access to Harvard University records is restricted for 50 years from the date of creation. These restrictions are noted in Series II. Access to personal and patient information is restricted for 80 years from the date of creation.
