Contains original and copied correspondence, deeds, and notes, dated 1785-1797, regarding settlement of the debts of merchant and mill owner Samuel Nasson (or Nason) of Sanford, Maine, and tanner Nicholas Sewall, of York, to Samuel Abbot. Includes copies of deeds to Abbot from Nasson to the land known as “Iron Works lot” in Sanford, and deeds from Sewall to his shares in a farm in York, as well as the discharge of Sewall’s mortgage and assignment to Barsham Allen.
