Account book of Thomas Fillebrown containing charges for labor he and his son provided to residents of Cambridge, Massachusetts, from 1788 to 1825. Entries record wages for general activities, such as a “day’s work,” and specific tasks like killing livestock and setting glass windows. The accounts also include records of payment via cash or barter.
