Scope and Contents
Ledger kept by Rowley, Massachusetts, merchant Thomas Prime from 1747 to 1757, recording credits and debits related to his business selling cider, brandy, and sugar to customers including the Rowley town selectmen. He also sometimes hired out his horse. Several loose accounts are tipped in to the volume.
